“Apna”, our brand name means “Ours” Our vision is to unite the Indian community (from different parts of the world that are in New Zealand) within a modern westernised country, hence the definition of our brand name which focuses on “us” together as a community rather than only individuals Located in West Auckland- Level 3, 362 Great North Road, Henderson Operating since 2003-Present A part of a larger organisation (sister company of Apna Television Limited) A Radio station that targets the Indian-Asian market The language spoken on air is mainly Hindi with a mixture of English, this embraces the western culture that exists in New Zealand, whilst accommodating a background of the Indian culture back home We believe in serving the community through the radio medium
