West Limerick 102FM

West Limerick 102FM is your community radio station covering the western half of Limerick County. We have a new 10-year broadcasting licence and have been transmitting since May 15th 2005. At WL102 a small core staff and over 100 volunteers produce a hugely rich and entertaining schedule of programmes broadcasting over 18 hours a day, every day of the week. We cover areas as diverse as gardening, folklore, current events, cooking, farming, local history and all types of music. We are active in profiling local happenings and community events, as well as supporting local businesses and organisations. Ideas for shows and stories come from you the listeners and in turn are made and presented by your own neighbours, family and friends. WL102 aims to celebrate the vibrant community of west limerick by entertaining and informing through our programming policy.
