When it comes to jazz, “the art form,” WETF has it in every genre. In addition to WETF’s locally produced shows, you can also hear outstanding jazz presenters from southern Indiana, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Missouri, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina and Washington. WETF’s weekly schedule consists of 168 hours of commercial-free programming, featuring more than 18 genres of jazz music, recorded over the past 100-plus years and presented from more than 30 collections by more than three dozen hosts based in 18 different states and Austria. Sixty-five (65) of its 168 hours of broadcasting each week are exclusive to WETF, 56 are contracted from WFMT’s jazz radio service, 22 are generously shared by other stations, and 25 are contributed by independent producers.
