Radio Ogulin officially started broadcasting in April 1965 and today it is among the ten oldest radio stations in Croatia.

The people who founded it have left an indelible mark in the history of our radio, but also of the city. Hundreds of people passed through it…

The first broadcast was on March 28, 1965, from Željko Kosanović's apartment in Proce. Ivan Gal read the results of the local elections for members of the Municipal Assembly into the microphone of the telephone receiver.

The first official news was also broadcast from Proca, on April 4, 1965, and was read by Stjepan Spoja. We celebrate this day as our birthday!

We have gone through both good and beautiful moments over the years. The most difficult, for sure, were those during the Homeland War.

The authorities watched and trampled us, but we persevered!

And today we are here, with you, our most loyal listeners, who we can say are our greatest treasures. Let it stay that way!
